Web and Platform Hosting

Flywheel

Flywheel has been our go-to hosting platform for WordPress based sites for several years. They have an incredibly stable and secure server setup that allows us to offer inexpensive hosting to our clients with premium features at a base price including secure certificates and automated backups.

Shopify

Despite the fact that we are fans of WordPress, we still think Shopify is the most stable and best platform for hosting an e-commerce site. We regularly build WordPress–Shopify site integrations with both platforms doing their own heavy lifting, but styled so your customers have a seamless experience between the two, while you have the cleanest experience on the backend.

MailChimp

MailChimp is one of the most ubiquitous email marketing platforms in the business for a good reason—it is a clean email system (which translates into high inboxing which means your customers see your emails), it has a nice interface, and it is easy for us to build robust email campaigns that integrate with your other marketing platforms, and then hand that off to you to manage without needing professionals to handle every email send. We have looked for years for an alternative for one reason or another, but always seem to come back to MailChimp.

Dreamhost

We use Dreamhost for Domain Registration and URL research. Their prices have always been fair, their support is relatively quick, and their DNS tools are clear and easy to manage for updating Google-based emails, and domains and sub-domains hosted on Shopify or Flywheel.

Printful

Our go-to Print On Demand provider, Printful is not only our choice for inventory management and easy online order fulfillment, but is also who we recommend to our clients and friends for their printing needs when quantity is an unknown. Moment

We have only been in the know about Moment lenses and iPhone cases for a couple years now, but they have completely changed how we use the camera in our pocket. The quality of their lenses cannot be beat, and their phone cases are the best we’ve found… even if you’re not looking to connect an external lens to it. Their recent entry into the app ecosystem with their own Camera App is also exciting… it is our second fave app for catching photo and video after the native camera… a close second only for ease of launch to catch those quick shots.

Business Services

Evernote

You could almost say we run our business through Evernote. The portability and flexibility of the Evernote ecosystem between devices and platforms means we always have our project notes at hand. The platform has been stable for almost 10 years for us now (longer than this business has even existed), ad we have no misgivings about trusting Evernote with our ideas, notes, and project files.

Dropbox

There are a lot of online file storage and sharing services now, but we always come back to Dropbox. It has proven to be the most consistent for us and our clients and the most seamless working environment for our remote teams working between multiple devices and locations. Whenever we get a link from a client that is coming from Dropbox we know the process will run smoothly.

AirBnB

We all use Airbnb and we’re all familiar with it… but we’ve found Airbnb to be priceless when it comes to business travel. With great pricing and a much larger inventory of housing than destination hotels alone, we are always able to find lodging that fits our needs for the trip, close to where we need to be, and at a price within our travel budget.
